The Building Years
|
My first exposure to Annapolis was when my parents
bought a small cottage, decided to increase its size and
obtained a building permit.
|
|
We spent many years transforming the tiny cottage into
a home that could meet our needs. My parents
continually told me that it was building character in me.

The Building Years Continue
|
The hard work ethics that I was taught as
a child allowed me to persevere through years of university training,
obtain both a Masters and Bachelors degree in computer
science.
|
First house:
My wife and I settled in another part of Pasadena,
but we quickly outgrew our house.
Again, it was time to start another major remodeling project.
|
|
I learned an important lesson: That planning before a crisis was
essential to success. We now have seven absolutely wonderful
children filling up our five bedroom house.
|
|
Remodeled first house:
Hard work and planning pays off. I never imagined that
I would perform another building project as I did in my
childhood, but I am so thankful for the strong work ethic I
received in my formative years.
